What is a flat-lay?

A flat lay is a photograph taken directly above a product that is arranged on a surface. Flat laying is one of the most popular ways to advertise a product, therefore it is important to stand-out. Flat lays can present multiple products or single products and they should tell a story. In this course I will teach you how to increase sales, engagement and following by improving your flat lay skills.

Why should you improve your flat-lay?

A high standard of flat-lay not only displays the product but it should catch the buyers eye and tell them a story about the product. My flat-lays make the clothes come alive and the photo order tells a story of how the product functions and feels. The goal of a perfect flay-lay is to make the buyer want the product, so you have to make it attractive!

I have flat laid and sold over 5000 products. I am not claiming to be the best but my near decade of experience taking product photos is evident as my flat-lays stand out on every sales channel and my sales volume speaks for itself. I started flipping Supreme at thirteen and managed an account called the supremecookbook. It taught people how to resell, what to buy each week and how to ‘snipe’.
