Puma was born October 1st, 1948 after a historic split-up between the Dassler brothers. Since 1948, Rudolf Dassler with Puma has focused on increasing its credibility and strength through its heritage in sports by providing athletes with the highest quality shoes. Some notable mentions: In 1954, the first world record is held by a pair of PUMA running shoes, Portuguese striker sensation and Ballon d'Or winner Eusébio is named top scorer in the 1966 World Cup in England while wearing PUMA football boots & While wearing PUMA KING boots, Pelé is crowned the “Player of the Tournament” in the 1970 World Cup.

This puma shell jacket features a unique asymmetrical zip and a balaclava hood with ventilation holes and a mesh covering. The hood has two front toggles and an interesting 3 way elastic back toggle. The outer membrane consists of a pinstripe pattern and has a waterproof rating of around 5,000mm. Reflective Puma logos are on both arms and the jacket is fleece lined, with hand warmers & thumb holes. Instead of cinches at the hem the jacket has a strong elastic hem that can be folded inwards to create the same effect, and with Velcro to tighten the sides.
